Introduction

Heshun Library is located on the bank of the Shuanghong Bridge in the center of the village. It was built in 1924 and has a traditional Chinese-style architecture. It is surrounded by mountains and water, and behind a dense village. There are two small creeks in front of the door, and across the street is the wide and fertile Heshun embankment. The Yiqun Middle School is to the right. The first door of the library is grand and impressive, with a black and gold banner hanging above it that reads "Heshun Library, written by Zhang Li for the villagers". The second door uses three holes of Western-style iron gates designed to imitate the original East Wuchang University facade in Suzhou, with exquisite shapes. Various plaques such as "Heshun Library (Hu Shi)" and "Culture Hub (Li Shizeng)" are also hung on the door. Entering the courtyard, you can see a small garden. In the center of the garden is a neatly trimmed yellow sandalwood tree, surrounded by green trees and red flowers, very beautiful. Walking through the garden, you will reach the main building of the library. This is a two-story Chinese-style building with five grids on each floor. The second and fourth grids extend into a hexagonal pavilion, which is very unique. The interior is decorated with elegant and colorful murals, and with glass windows on both the upper and lower floors, the room is spacious, bright and comfortable.
