Introduction

Congtai Park is located on the west side of Zhonghua Avenue in Handan City, Hebei Province, covering an area of 369.6 mu, with Congtai Lake covering more than 42 mu. Congtai, also known as "Wuling Congtai", was allegedly built during the reign of King Wuling of Zhao (around 325-299 BC) and has a history of over 2,000 years. The original purpose of building Congtai was to provide a place for King Wuling to watch song and dance performances and military drills. Historical records indicate that the park once contained unique and exquisitely decorated architectural landmarks such as the Heavenly Bridge, Snow Cave, Makeup Pavilion, and Flower Garden, making it a distinctive scenic spot at that time.
