Introduction

Zhu Ziqing's former residence, built in the Qing Dynasty, is a typical "three-in-one courtyard" of Yangzhou folk houses. Yangzhou's "Zhu Ziqing Former Residence" is one of the best-preserved old houses of the Zhu family in the country. The thin brick flooring at the entrance, the stone edge, the stone walls and tile-roofed houses, and the carved screen doors all exude a strong sense of antiquity. The second courtyard has an orderly hall and an exhibition hall, with a statue of Zhu Ziqing in the center of the hall. Zhu Ziqing's former residence was where he lived with his parents, children, and Mr. Zhu for more than ten years before and after returning to Yangzhou. It is very elegant and definitely worth a visit. The memorial hall is free and open to the public, with a total daily visitor limit of no more than 400 people, divided between morning and afternoon.
