Introduction

Yangzhou Wuting Bridge is built in imitation of Beijing's Five Dragon Pavilion and Seventeen-Arch Bridge, just as beautiful as the waist belt of Slender West Lake, and is one of the important tourist attractions in Yangzhou. In the Qing Dynasty, five pavilions on the bridge, built for Emperor Qianlong's southern inspection, shine with yellow tiles and vermilion pillars, decorated with colorful murals unique to southern architecture, while the white railings set off the beauty of the pavilions. The thick bridge piers under the bridge present the characteristics of northern architecture. Wuting Bridge has 15 bridge holes, and on the night of the 15th full moon every year, a full moon is hung at each hole, and boating through these holes is very interesting. Professor Mao Yisheng, a well-known bridge expert, once described Wuting Bridge as "the most beautiful and artistically representative bridge in China".
