The only park with a lake

Introduction

A beautiful park is located in the north of Xingtai city, free for visitors. The park has an artificial lake, rippling with blue waves, as well as the memorial hall and statue of Guo Shoujing, a famous scientist from the Yuan Dynasty, and many interesting amusement facilities. Dahuo Spring is located in the northwest corner of Xingtai city, which is a pool surrounded by a hundred steps and about a yard deep. The spring water is clear and transparent, like boiling silver flowers, with numerous streams winding around. Guo Shoujing, a famous astronomer, hydraulic engineer, and mathematician from the Yuan Dynasty, excavated the spring water here, built channels for passing ships, and irrigating the fields. Dahuo Spring was also previously planted with willows, and pavilions were constructed, becoming a stunning landscape. The current Dahuo Spring Park has a lot of vegetation, with various types of flowers and spherical green trees arranged on the green space in the middle of the pavement, while green willows line both sides of the road. The northwest side of the park is the old Dahuo Spring, which has now been developed into two interconnected artificial lakes, with pedaled pleasure boats and small islands in the lakes, adding to the fun. At the edge of the lake, there is an octagonal pavilion for visitors to rest and enjoy the coolness. There is also a flower garden on the west side of the park, with many different types of flowers such as winter plum, bamboo, banana, and roses, emitting a fragrant and colorful atmosphere.
