Introduction
Su Causeway runs north and south through West Lake and was built by Su Dongpo during his time in Hangzhou. It is known as "Su Causeway in Spring Morning" due to its enchanting spring scenery, and is one of the top ten scenic spots in West Lake. The causeway is about 3 kilometers long and passes through six stone bridges from south to north, including Yingbo Bridge, Suolan Bridge, Wangshan Bridge, Yadong Bridge, Dongpu Bridge, and Kua Hong Bridge. Yadong Bridge is the best place to admire the panoramic view of West Lake, and a royal pavilion with a calligraphy inscription written by Emperor Kangxi entitled "Su Causeway in Spring Morning" stands at the southern end. The scenic spots at the two ends of the Su Causeway are relatively concentrated, with the Su Dongpo Memorial Hall available for free visits at the southern end and attractions such as Yuewang Temple and Quyuanfenghe at the northern end.
