This place was originally called Baishadi and is a hub connecting the city and scenic spots. The verse by Bai Juyi "Most fond of the trip to the east of the lake, on the white sand dyke lined with green willows" describes the beautiful scenery here. The road is lined with neat willow and peach trees, and you can admire the picturesque scenery of West Lake by looking up, making it perfect for leisurely strolls. The scenery of Baishi Dyke changes with the seasons, and it is best to visit in spring when you can overlook the panoramic view of the pink peach blossoms and green willows from Beishan Road opposite. The photos taken here are also extremely beautiful. Baishi Dyke is approximately 1 kilometer long and can be easily explored on foot.
