Introduction

This temple is located beside West Lake and is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China, as well as one of the ten ancient temples in China, preserving many precious cultural relics from different dynasties. The Tianwang Hall has a plaque with the characters "Yunlin Temple" written by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, and it houses many valuable treasures inside. The mountain is scattered with many marvelous and colorful caves and Buddhist stone statues, which are one of the rare ancient stone cave arts in southern China. It is also the place where Ji Gong became a monk. It is said that prayers here are very effective, so there are countless pilgrims who come to pay their respects and pray for blessings every day.
