Introduction
Pingjiang Road is a historic old street in Suzhou, located along the river and approximately 1.6 kilometers in length. It is the most well-preserved area in the ancient city of Suzhou, serving as a microcosm of the city's history. Along the way, there are small alleys including Xuanqiao Lane, Daru Lane, Zhong Zhangjia Lane, and Daxin Bridge Lane. Additionally, there are several water lanes on the east side that add to the character of the street as a water town of Jiangnan. This entire neighborhood has preserved its original street style, and even the renovated bars, souvenir shops, and cafes do not stand out, making it a favorite among tourists who feel as if they are in the midst of residential homes.
