Aspendos Ancient Theatre
The Aspendos Ancient Theatre is located about 40 kilometers east of Antalya and was built in 155 AD. It is one of the most historically valuable theatres in Turkey. Despite over 2000 years of weathering and human destruction, it remains both spectacular and almost perfectly preserved to this day. Every summer in June and July, various concerts and stage performances are held here intermittently, attracting many music lovers and cultural tourists to come and watch.
