Tangba Lake Tourist Area
In summer, flocks of migratory birds come to play, nesting in the grass and breeding yellow geese, wild geese, cranes, swans, wild ducks, and gulls. The edge of the lake is a red rock, which is home to various bird nests, making it very lively. From December to March, the lake is frozen with an ice layer 0.6-0.8 meters thick. During this time, the land and lake are covered in white snow, with undulating mountains creating a picturesque snowy landscape. Foxes and wild rabbits often appear, making it an ideal place for ice fishing, hunting, and sports.
Sharif Khan Park
Sharif Khan Park, also known as Birch Forest Park, is a garden featuring natural birch trees as the main scenery. It is located in the northwest corner of Altay City, in a floodplain area upstream of the Klan River. The terrain is flat and open, with the Klan River dividing the Birch Forest Park into six small islands. The interweaving of forest and water creates beautiful scenery.
Xiaodonggou Forest Park
Xiaodonggou Scenic Area is located at the mouth of the Dakelan Valley directly north of the city. Here, the rivers converge, and the riverbed is filled with jagged rocks, with waves crashing like snow. The dense forests on both sides are lush and green, with bizarre rock formations. Moving forward, the water flow becomes gentle, and the scenery is picturesque, earning the local nickname 'Little Li River'. The landscape is deep and primitive, mysterious and full of charm.
