Tianzhu Mountain by the Han River boasts picturesque scenery. Throughout history, scholars and poets have often visited Tianzhu Mountain to enjoy the views, compose poems, and create paintings. A poem praises it: 'Majestic and towering, piercing the clouds, the first peak among the mountains; lightly brushing the sky, forming shadows and greenery, sharing the sunlight with the lotus; reaching the summit, one cannot bear the vastness of the world, ultimately drenched in rich rain and dew; heaven sends forth talented individuals, making the bright stones and clear skies.' Baiyun Temple is located on Tianzhu Mountain, built during the Tang Dynasty. It is one of the four major Buddhist holy sites in southern Shaanxi and is listed as one of the eight scenic spots of Ankang. Behind the temple is the Lotus Pond, and in front is the Square Pond. According to legend, observing the Tianchi can reveal the water level of the Han River. The temple is surrounded by lush pines and cypresses, with the fragrance of cold plums. The grand hall with its carved beams and painted rafters is resplendent with gold and jade, housing a thousand Buddha statues, and is filled with incense smoke.

Zhongba Grand Canyon

The entire canyon is a seven-kilometer-long grand canyon, with the narrowest part being only ten meters wide. It twists and turns like a snake. The rock walls on both sides are layered and reach up to a thousand meters high, covered with dense forests, making it difficult to see the sky in many places. Among the attractions are the Sheer Cliff, which stands over a thousand meters above the clouds; the vividly shaped Kite Rock; and the Eagle Beak Peak, where rocks intersect like swords. The small canyon is less than a meter wide, with steep terrain, rapid water flow, and unique rock formations. Within one kilometer, several waterfalls cascade down. Niuxin Gorge offers a unique view, with rocks resembling animals and objects in various postures: some look like turtles, some like rabbits, and some like melons, crossing through the canyon. There are many naturally formed, interesting rocks of different sizes and shapes, such as Niuxin Rock, Lianxin Rock, and Xianren Rock, which are exquisite and lifelike.
Yundou Ancient Town is an ancient post station on the Sichuan-Hubei ancient road, with a history of over a thousand years. The karst topography's lava is built upon the small town, and most of the existing ancient streets are Ming and Qing dynasty buildings, especially characterized by the stilted buildings that 'yield three feet, occupy one day'. The ancient town is nestled by mountains and rivers, with the Fushui River flowing alongside. Despite the changes over a thousand years, it still maintains the tranquil, simple, and elegant appearance of the past, reminiscent of 'small bridges, flowing water, and homes'.

Xiangxi Cave Scenic Area

Located on the southern slopes of the Bashan Mountains and north of the Han River, the Xiangxi Cave Scenic Area is divided into five sections: Xiangxi Cave, Santianmen, Wenwu Mountain, Centipede Mountain, and Niutiling. The area is surrounded by mountains with overlapping peaks. The winding streams at the foot of the mountains, the wildflowers and fragrant grasses in the valleys, create a colorful landscape. Among these flowers, there is one called 'Xiangtuanci,' which has yellow and white blossoms. In early spring, the flowers bloom and fall, filling the valley with fragrance, hence the name Xiangxi (Fragrant Stream). Tracing the stream back, the valley narrows and the mountains rise high, with suspended rocks flanking the path. Legend has it that Lü Dongbin once practiced Taoism here. Later generations built bridges and towers, carved rocks, and created caves, naming it 'Xiangxi Cave.'
