Wuhan Science and Technology Museum
The science popularization exhibition includes sections such as Children's Playground, Robot World, Mechanics and Machinery, Science and Life, Earth and Universe, Mathematics and Physics, Information Technology, Sound and Light, Materials and Energy, Electricity and Magnetism. There are more than 260 (sets of) science popularization exhibits, which are rich in scientific knowledge, highly interactive, and integrate scientific, educational, and entertaining elements. Over 90% of the exhibits can be operated by visitors, and some exhibits are among the best and first of their kind in the country.
Wuhan, a central cultural district in Wuhan, Hubei Province, with a total length of 1.5 kilometers. The main buildings are in the architectural style of the Republic of China. Han Street is built along the Chu River and has the richest commercial content in China, the most fashion brands, and gathers top cultural elements from around the world.
Guanggu Square
Located at the east gate of Wuhan City, Guanggu Square stands at the entrance of 'China·Optics Valley', boasting an excellent location. The entire 'Guanggu Square' is designed with an arc-shaped architectural concept, featuring innovative theme structures and ingenious design. From a distance, the columnar supports of the square stand firm like Mount Tai. On both sides, the building curtain walls gradually unfold, resembling a large bird spreading its wings, ready to take flight.
Tanhualin Street is located north of Wuchang Huayuan Mountain and south of Phoenix Mountain, starting from Zhongshan Road in the east and ending at Desheng Bridge in the west, with a total length of 1200 meters. It is an old street that gradually formed after the expansion of Wuchang City in the fourth year of the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It is a gathering place for literary youth and a fresh and artistic spot. There are many small shops with a literary style, making it a perfect place for photography!
East Lake Scenic Area
Covering an area of 88 square kilometers, the East Lake Ecotourism Area consists of six sections: Tingtao, Moshan, Luoyan, Chuidi, Baima, and Luohong. It is rich in Chu culture and has beautiful Chu charm. The lakeside is winding, with interlaced ports and channels, vast blue waves, surrounded by green mountains, dotted with islands, and is known as the Ninety-nine Bays. National key universities such as Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) are located by the East Lake, making it a great scenic spot.
Haichang Polar Ocean World
Wuhan Polar Ocean World is currently the only multi-layer, multi-hall comprehensive indoor polar ocean theme park in China. The exterior of the pavilion resembles a giant white whale leaping into the river city of Wuhan. Inside, there are exhibitions, performances, and interactions with rare marine animals and fish (emperor penguins, polar bears, false killer whales, belugas, walruses, dolphins, etc.). It is the best place to experience polar and ocean landscapes and to feel the dream journey of polar ocean culture.
