The noodles here are alkaline noodles, with a delicate and soft texture, which is a characteristic of southern noodles. Northern noodles are rougher and more chewy. These noodles are very smooth and can also be described as refreshing.

As the saying goes, Mengzhong BBQ is a major event in the Changsha BBQ scene. When I came to Changsha, everyone recommended that I must go to Mengzhong and go early, otherwise, I wouldn't get a spot. We ordered 16 beef fat skewers for 15 yuan, 12 squid tentacles for 15 yuan, 12 green beans, and 16 tofu skewers for 10 yuan. Overall, the taste was very good, a bit spicy. The beef fat was crispier when grilled, and it's also their specialty. However, I personally prefer pork belly, which was grilled to perfection. I believe that to make good BBQ, the first is marination, and the second is grilling. They excelled in both. I highly recommend everyone to try it!
