The Iron Lion was cast during the Later Zhou dynasty, which is part of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, over a thousand years ago. In ancient times, the Iron Lion was revered as a sacred object, and people often came to worship it.
Wuqiao Acrobatics World, located in Wuqiao County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is an amusement park that fully leverages Wuqiao's advantage as the 'Hometown of Acrobatics'. It also provides a venue for amateur acrobats in Wuqiao County to perform and make a living.
Qingzhen North Mosque boasts a vast building area and a magnificent and grand architectural style. It is one of the largest mosques in North China in terms of both area and scale. The mosque is oriented east-west and consists of two courtyards, front and rear. The front courtyard includes more than ten rooms such as the Imam's room, the bathing room, and the women's mosque. On the west side, there are five rooms on each side of the lecture hall with a corridor. The rear courtyard houses the prayer hall.
Dongguang Iron Buddha Temple, located in Puzhao Park, Dongguang County, Hebei Province, was originally named 'Puzhao Temple'. It was built during the Northern Song Dynasty and has a history of over a thousand years. The Iron Buddha Temple was damaged during the Cultural Revolution and was restored in 1986.
Nandagang Wetland
Nandagang Wetland is a famous coastal wetland in Cangzhou, formed by river sedimentation after the sea receded. It boasts beautiful scenery all year round. The scenic area includes sightseeing waterways and land routes, ring dike roads, two visitor centers and squares in the north and south, five boat docks, bird-watching pavilions, a reed maze, Crane Release Square, Dawu Folk Museum, bird nests, Wild Duck Bay, Zhongxian Island, an ecological greening corridor, and many other attractions. There are also two bird performances: the welcoming of the swans and the release of the bar-headed geese.
