Xiangyang
Prosperous Tang City, if in the past you went to Xiangyang for a bowl of fragrant beef noodles, or to experience the ancient Longzhong where Zhuge Liang was visited thrice, or to reminisce about Guo Jing's defense of Xiangyang, now you have a new reason to visit Xiangyang: after the Tang Dynasty movie 'Legend of the Demon Cat', Tang City has finally become known to the world. With its red walls, green tiles, and glazed paintings, just looking at the pictures can make you feel the prosperity and splendor of the Tang Dynasty from hundreds of years ago.
Xiejia Ping
I don't know if its name comes from 'Jianlong Xiejia' (a phrase meaning 'seeing the dragon remove its armor'), but when you come here, you will naturally let down your guard and completely relax. There are abundant geothermal resources here, which means there are many hot springs. Is there anything more enjoyable than soaking in a hot spring in winter? The pristine natural scenery makes this place look like a paradise. The Tujia ethnic group's settlement here has preserved unique Tujia customs and traditions. Xiejia Ping is about 300 kilometers from Wuhan, with abundant local delicacies and specialties, and the local customs are still very simple and honest. It is a great place to spend the Spring Festival holiday with friends.
Shennongjia
The Dajiu Lake in winter is incredibly beautiful! It is as quiet as a virgin, an ice and snow beauty, like a dream... It seems that these common adjectives are not enough to describe her gentleness and grace. When you visit Shennongjia, you can also choose to have an exciting skiing experience at the ski resort.
The source of Qiantang River, but unlike typical water towns, besides the gentle charm of Jiangnan, it also has the rare mountainous grandeur of Jiangnan, earning it the nickname 'Greater Khingan Mountains of Western Zhejiang'.
Yaoli
Located near Jingdezhen, the ancient town of Yaoli is also a niche attraction, like a landscape gallery frozen in time, exceptionally beautiful. The sky in Yaoli is as pure as if it has been washed, and the water reflects the white walls and black tiles of Hui-style architecture, with high ridges and flying eaves. Especially on rainy days, Yaoli is shrouded in a misty rain, presenting a scene of great beauty.
Wuyi Mountain
Wuyi Mountain is renowned for its 'emerald waters and red mountains in the southeast.' Tianyou Peak and Jiuqu Stream are particularly enchanting. Drifting on a bamboo raft along Jiuqu Stream and gazing at the peak of Tianyou is an unparalleled experience. Now, it only takes 4 hours to reach Wuyi Mountain from Wuhan by high-speed train, making it the most convenient way to get there.
Dongxihu
This place is home to the true Swan Lake in the city of Wuhan: Fuhu Wetland. Every winter, hundreds of thousands of migratory birds love to come here to spend the winter. There is also the Pomegranate Red Village, reminiscent of the water towns of Jiangnan, with its unique and elegant Huizhou-style houses, giving you the feeling of traveling through Huizhou. Additionally, there is the Tulip Park. Even if you miss the blooming seasons of tulips and sunflowers, the Tulip Park will still take you into a colorful dream.
