Music tour: Feel the vibrant melody in Vienna

No other city in the world has so many famous musicians and composers' former residences. In Vienna, people can follow in the footsteps of the masters, visit their former homes and memorials, and feel the musical rhythm of this city.

Strauss Memorial

Strauss (1825-1899) wrote his most famous 'Blue Danube Waltz' in this small house in 1867. This piece is considered Austria's unofficial national anthem.

Figaro House and Mozart Memorial

"Figaro House" was built in the 17th century. It is said that Mozart spent the happiest time of his life here (1784-1787) and wrote the opera "The Marriage of Figaro".

Beethoven's Residence

Named after the owner, the 'Pasqualati House', Beethoven resided here multiple times between 1804 and 1815. In 1802, he wrote his will at the 'Heiligenstadt Testament House'. From 1803 to 1804, Beethoven composed the famous symphony 'Eroica' at the 'Eroica House'.

Schubert's Birthplace

Schubert's birthplace is now surrounded by picturesque scenery. It is said that he refused to take off his glasses even at night so that he could immediately start composing upon waking up.
In 1828, this diligent and hardworking composer passed away. In the small room where Schubert left this world, there is a piano on which he played the last chapter of his life.
