In the 34th year of the Guangxu reign (1908), it was recorded in the list of 14 silk businesses by the Suzhou General Chamber of Commerce: Qiantai Xiang, east of Xuanniao Temple... Although there are not many records about the founding of Qiantai Xiang, this old brand in Guanqian Street has long been famous among its peers in Suzhou.

Taohuawu Woodcut New Year Pictures Museum
The Taohuawu Woodcut New Year Pictures Museum is located in Puyuan. In early 2008, a Taohuawu woodcut New Year picture titled 'A Group of Harmony,' originally created during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, was successfully reproduced in Puyuan. This was the first attempt since the founding of the People's Republic of China to replicate a representative work from the peak period of Taohuawu woodcut New Year pictures. It is considered the pioneering work of the 'reappearance of classics' of Taohuawu New Year pictures. The characters in the picture are depicted in a thick, round shape, wearing red flowers on their heads, with braided hair in the shape of goat horns, dressed in colorful and ornate clothing, and adorned with a 'Sun and Moon Shine Together' silver lock, exuding a sense of innocent childlike charm.
