Wuhan street food feast (Part 3)

Follow the Wuhan Street Food Map and discover those delectable delicacies that everyone raves about.

Liang Liang Steamed Shrimp

Liang Liang Steamed Shrimp offers a refreshing alternative to the usual thirteen-spice and garlic-flavored lobsters with its steamed shrimp. Highly recommended is their cold noodles, priced at just 6 yuan for a small portion. It's cheap and delicious, truly a must-try!

Zhang Tongshou Doupi

Doupi is one of the four famous local snacks in Wuhan, and its preparation process is actually quite complicated. Doupi is golden and shiny, with a light egg fragrance. The egg skin is soft, crispy, and tender, smooth but not rough. It doesn't feel greasy at all.

Liu Ji Hot Dry Noodles

Authentic sesame paste, the taste is impeccable. Knowing that I wanted to take it away, they specially added some marinade for me, so that it wouldn't be too dry and hard to mix when I eat it later. Thumbs up for the attention to detail. The taste is also better than Cai Lin Ji and comparable to Tian Tian Zhao Shifu's Red Oil Hot Dry Noodles.

Wuda Lakeside Canteen

You need to purchase a card to eat here. You can refund the remaining balance after use, so don't worry. Just remember to refund the card before 1:30 PM, otherwise the canteen staff will be off duty. Recommendations: coconut milk sago, beef offal noodles, lotus root soup, and grilled cold noodles. Every dish is excellent and very affordable.

Xiang Jie | Roasted Pig Trotters

The roasted pig trotters are especially tender and crispy, truly different from others. The skin is crispy, the meat is tender, fatty but not greasy. You can see the entire cooking process through the glass, making it reassuring to eat. The price is also not expensive, highly recommended. According to the locals, there are two Xiang Jie Roasted Pig Trotters on Jianghan Road, and the one at Happy Station is the most authentic.
