Lakeside Residence at State Guesthouse
Visiting the lakeside tea house at the State Guesthouse is a must for tea lovers in Hangzhou. The scenery is unbeatable, and so are the tea snacks. I counted, and there were six or seven courses of snacks, not just six or seven types! The tea leaves are excellent, and there is a dedicated tea master who explains and demonstrates the tea ceremony. The whole room is filled with the fragrance of tea, making it a very quiet and pleasant experience. Just being here is a kind of enjoyment.
Guan Zhi Yin
A place where you can drink tea and dine, an elegant and tranquil spot in a bustling city. Gather here to savor elegance, trace memories, and inspire emotions. The dining location is set on the ruins of a Southern Song Dynasty street, offering a unique charm and a strong sense of history. The interior decoration is exquisite, elegant, and simple, giving a sense of serenity.
Jingshang Academy (inside the Botanical Garden)
This teahouse is called Jingshang Academy. It was once a well-known club in Hangzhou, but it transformed into an academy a few years ago and now serves as a teahouse selling a lifestyle. From the outside, it looks like just another building in the scenic area, but once inside, it reveals a different world—elegant and serene, with a strong scholarly atmosphere. Many exquisite artworks are displayed in the inner hall. The entire venue is divided into several sections. Today's task is to enjoy tea and the scenery in the tranquil embrace of nature. The place has even more charm at night than during the day.
