368 Zhongshan South Road
Known as 'Hangzhou's No. 1 Pian'er Chuan', Juying has 5 stores in operation across the city, with 3 more stores set to open soon.
Fang Chuan Noodle House
Already a big name in the noodle industry with 13 chain stores, the oldest main store is located next to Liubu Bridge. In fact, there is a new store just a hundred meters away. However, old customers still unanimously go to the main store. The craftsmanship passed down from grandmother's generation is highly recommended: Bowl of Kidney Flower Pian'er Chuan.
Bajiao Noodle House (Canal Shangjie Branch)
Speaking of how impressive Bajiao Noodle House is, it has been exactly 36 years since it started as a small noodle stall at Wulinmen in 1983. Recommended specialty: stir-fried noodles with pork liver.
Liufang Noodle House (Zhongshan North Road Branch)
Compared to various old shops that have been around for decades, Liufang Noodle House is relatively young. However, this does not affect its popularity in Hangzhou, where it has opened five or six branches, and even expanded to other cities with good reviews. Recommended: Pork Liver Mixed Noodles.
Jun'er Noodle House (Hedong Road Branch)
Recommendation: Pork Liver Ban Chuan. The pork liver has no off-flavor and is relatively tender. In terms of portion size, it can be evenly mixed with the last bite of noodles. However, the overall performance and taste of the Ban Chuan are mediocre, neither outstanding nor disappointing. It's the kind of place you'd go to when you're hungry but wouldn't think of otherwise.
Zhong'er Noodle Restaurant (Baochu Road Branch)
The first Zhong'er Noodle Restaurant in Hangzhou should be the Xixi Road branch, which has been around for 36 years since 1983. The beef brisket noodles are a must-order signature dish at any branch, and the taste is not much different from the old store. Recommended: Beef Brisket Noodles.
Huijuan Noodle House (Wangjiang Road Branch)
Recommended dishes: Pork Liver Ban Chuan, Pian Er Chuan.
Wangjiang Noodle House (Qianjiang Road Branch)
The shop has two floors. The large intestine at Wangjiang is cleaned thoroughly and cooked to the right tenderness, making it a qualified large intestine. Recommended dish: Spicy Pepper Large Intestine with Sichuan Noodles.
