Dali Catholic Church
The Dali Ancient City Christian Church was originally established in June 1904 and was then called the 'Chinese Christian Chapel'. In 1956, it was renamed the 'Dali Christian Unity Association'. In 1980, it was renamed again to the 'Dali Ancient City Christian Church'. In 2004, it was renamed once more to the 'Dali Ancient City Christian Church'. In 2008, it was listed as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit. The main structure of the church is made of earth and wood, with a four-slope tiled roof. It retains the style of Western European churches while also featuring strong Bai ethnic architectural characteristics, making it a church that combines both Chinese and Western elements.
Chaimido Farm Restaurant
This is a restaurant with its own farm, where the ingredients are self-grown. The restaurant design incorporates many 'bamboo' elements, giving it a natural and rustic feel. The tableware and decorations are very attractive, making it easy to take beautiful photos while dining.
At the entrance of the bedsheet factory stands a wooden board densely covered with business cards from various studios. The galleries, bookstores, cafes, graffiti walls, and more all exude a fresh and artistic vibe. The Dali Photography Museum is also located here.
There are several flower seas by Erhai Lake. Visiting the flower seas in the right season allows for beautiful photos with many blooming flowers as props, creating a natural and beautiful scene. In one of the flower seas, there is also a very nice-looking white bus where you can climb to the roof for photos, with blue skies and white clouds as the background, giving a very fresh and clean style.
Lifetime with Flowers
This is a rose manor with a large rose field. It is also a seaside manor, just a few steps away from Erhai Lake. There is also a very fresh and small blue bus in the manor, which is great for taking photos and makes the scene more vivid and interesting.
Haidong Highway
We often take road photos during our travels. The road by the sea in Dali is romantic and refreshing, and the section of Haidong Highway around Erhai Lake is the most beautiful road by the lake. At sunset, you might be lucky enough to encounter 'Jesus light', and you can also be a 'light chaser' by Erhai Lake.
A distinctive Bai ethnic residential complex, walking through the ancient town allows you to experience the ancient Bai lifestyle. The red wall of the internet-famous Xilinyuan guesthouse in the ancient town is also a must-visit photo spot. Outside the wall is a vast expanse of rice fields, offering different surprises whether in the green of spring and summer or the golden hues of autumn.
Haixi Water Station
This is an abandoned water station. The concrete path extends into the sea, and a frame resembling a 'gate' adds to the composition of photos, giving the scene a retro feel. It is very suitable for taking wedding photos or solo portraits. Walking along Huanhai West Road, you will see a stone tablet with 'Meixi' written on it, and around thirty meters away, there is a house by the sea, which is the entrance to the water station. Walk straight in, and you will find the photo spot. Note that in winter, the sea water may cover the concrete path, so you need to take off your shoes to cross, or you can prepare a pair of water shoes.
Baita Yi Coastal Village
Located in the middle section of Huanhai West Road in Dali, a little past Majiuyi towards Xizhou (reachable by navigation), this coastal village is adjacent to Huanhai West Road. There are many riverbank stone beaches along the road where you can play in the water and take photos. The trees standing gracefully in the water by the shore make it an excellent choice for photography.

Located near Xiaoputuo in Wase Town, it is one of the few high-quality seaview inns available. The location is superb, separated from Erhai Lake by only a road, offering an excellent view of the Erhai sunset. White benches, small gardens, and infinity pools are all present. The room facilities are excellent, making it perfect for both photography and accommodation.
