China's Famous Big Buddha Temple

Big Buddha temples are Buddhist temples found in several cities in China, here are some of the more well-known ones.

Located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, it is an important group of attractions on the Silk Road, preserving the country's largest Xixia Buddhist temple - the Great Buddha Hall, the largest indoor wooden mud sculpture reclining Buddha and the most complete first engraving first printing of the Yongle Beizang.
Located in Xinchang County, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the entire temple is characterized by grotto statues, Buddha's grand scale, a long history, known as the "Yue Dunhuang".
Located in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, was built in the Southern Han Dynasty, initially known as the "New Tibetan Temple", the Ming Dynasty called "Longzang Temple", the Qing Dynasty Kangxi three years (1664), the Pingnan King Shang Kexi donations to build a temple in this temple, and for the temple casting of the three large bronze Buddha, so it is known as the Great Buddha Temple.
Located in the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, it is the world's tallest outdoor bronze seated Buddha, standing at about 23 meters tall (26.4 meters with the Lotus Seat), or nearly 34 meters if the pedestal is included.
