This museum is located on the first floor of the Shanghai Longyang Road Maglev Station. It is not large in scale and mainly introduces the development history and scientific principles of maglev trains. It also features an introduction to the world's first commercial maglev line in Shanghai, making it a great place to increase scientific knowledge. Currently, admission is free, and visitors can arrange for a visit of about half an hour to an hour when taking the Shanghai Maglev Train.
Located in Hongkou District, it is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Tilanqiao Station on the subway. Opposite is the famous White Horse Café. After renovation, the museum has a very classical Western appearance. It is the former site of the three-story red-brick Moses Hall. The museum is open from 9 AM to 5 PM, and the ticket price is 3 USD.
Madame Tussauds, with lifelike wax figures. The most stunning is the wax figure of Yang Liping, which is incredibly beautiful! The final 4D movie is very interesting; when it snows or the wind blows in the movie, the theater also releases cold air, making it feel truly immersive!
The term '屋里箱' means 'home' in Shanghainese. This museum preserves the original architecture and, after renovation, includes interior furniture, decorations, residential space planning, kitchen, etc., all aiming to present the lifestyle of Shanghainese people in the old days. It is also one of the few remaining and relatively complete Shikumen buildings in Shanghai.
Long Museum
Long Museum is a private museum that charges an entrance fee, but it is free to visit on the first Tuesday of every month. The address is a bit of a walk from the subway station, but you can feel the pulse of the new developments in Pudong, Shanghai. The exhibition space here is very large! It is divided into multiple exhibition areas, and to match the red theme, there are of course some official-style exhibits. Art exhibitions in Shanghai are actually quite well done, and some exhibits require a large space to be properly showcased.
There are huge exhibition halls here that can display giant sculptures. There are also other exhibitions such as art works. The building itself is very beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls facing the river. It's worth spending an afternoon here.
