Milan's ZTL is not scary. You can spend 5 euros to buy a ticket tied to the license plate number. Florence is the one that gives me a headache. I clearly checked the route to Piazza Michelangelo and it was not within the ZTL range, but as I drove, I found those white circles everywhere. I didn't know how to proceed. In the end, I still drove into it. But I didn't see any cameras, and I don't know if I actually entered illegally ?

I just drove to the white circle. One road goes down, the other goes up. They are all circled. I was at a loss. I jumped twice in the middle and looked at the parking lot nearby on the navigation. Finally, I decided to go in and turn around to Venice. Like you, I also didn't see any cameras, but never mind. Otherwise, I would have no way to go.

The ZTL around Piazza Michelangelo starts at 11pm at night and there's no issue during the day.
