I have the same question. I saw on the rental car that it says only one driver is allowed, but we have a few people in our group and we will definitely need to take turns driving. How should we understand this ?

It is better to add fees to increase the driver when handling procedures, otherwise all insurance will be invalid if there is a problem and can be refused for compensation.

If a non-registered driver drives, the insurance will not cover it. Solution: 1. Buy an additional driver slot for each person per day, about 10+ AUD; 2. Carefully search on the car rental page, some car rental companies or some car models support adding an additional driver for free.
