Just wondering if most of you lease SUVs? Are SUVs more prone to being smashed than sedans ?

We have always rented SUVs. There is a saying online that the luggage compartment of an SUV is visible and easy to attract thieves, but even my friends and relatives in San Francisco dare not put things in the trunk of their sedan.

We rented an SUV, but we felt that a sedan was enough, as there weren't that many difficult roads to drive on. In some sections, the wind was strong, and the sedan had less wind resistance, making it easier to control. Additionally, the sedan had a lower rental fee and was more comfortable to drive.
