Leaving Melbourne early in the morning, have lunch in Apollo Bay, which is only 200 kilometers away. Then it's more than 100 kilometers to Port Campbell or Peterborough, along the way is the essence of the Great Ocean Road, half a day in the afternoon is enough. The rest is the return trip, if you don't mind driving at night, you can return to Melbourne on the same day.
