Hello, I am a new driver. Is it necessary to buy comprehensive insurance when driving along the Great Ocean Road? Or is it better to buy a super cheap comprehensive insurance supplement ?

I advise you not to drive in Australia, the speed of the cars there is very fast!

Newcomers on the road are right-handed and the Great Ocean Road may not be suitable for practice.

I bought comprehensive insurance with a zero deductible. There's usually no problem on the Great Ocean Road, but you should be careful in the city.

It is suggested to buy full insurance. The speed limit sign shows 70 km/h, and everyone is driving at or above this speed. The road is narrow and there are many bends.

Newcomers really shouldn't drive on the Great Ocean Road. There are so many difficult and sharp bends. There are also a lot of huge trucks on the road, looking like Transformers. They don't slow down even at 90 miles per hour at the bend, so driving at 40 miles per hour on the Great Ocean Road will cause public outrage, especially on the section near the Great Otway National Park the next day.

Slow down, you don't have to buy it! Australian cars are generally fast, but the road rights are clear, and they usually don't violate the rules!
