Hi, I came across a STOP sign, the car in front of me stopped for 3 seconds and then started driving. My car is following closely behind. Do I also need to stop for 3 seconds before driving, or should I just keep driving and follow the car in front that stopped for 3 seconds to cross the intersection ?

You also need to stop for three seconds, and if it is a crossing, if there are vehicles in all four directions of the intersection, the first to arrive goes first and queues up in turn. Foreigners pay a lot of attention to this.

If it says "stop" in three directions, you still need to wait in turn.

Pause. Restart. But there are usually no cameras, mainly still relies on self-discipline.

You must also stop before moving forward, and cannot follow closely.
