Do I need to rent an electronic toll plate to travel from San Francisco to Los Angeles on Highway 1, and then to Las Vegas ?

It's better to rent, so as to avoid additional fees later.

I suggest renting, the highway to Las Vegas is basically toll-free, but there is a section that will charge tolls. The key is that both San Francisco and Los Angeles have restricted lanes, and if you run the wrong one, you will be fined, which is not a question of rental fees.

Me too. Do you have a travel itinerary to share?
