Excuse me, has anyone bought the Colosseum combo ticket directly at the ancient Roman ruins recently? Do I not need to queue up ?

I made an appointment for the Colosseum time on Taobao, the kind with Rome pass. But you need to go to the Colosseum ticket office to exchange tickets and queue for an hour... Then enter the Colosseum according to the appointed time. Maybe because it's the second scenic spot, you need to pay an additional 2 euros per person with this ticket to enter the Colosseum and the Roman Ruins. You don't need to queue to enter the Roman Ruins with this ticket, but you can't go down to the garden below the Roman Ruins. The garden costs 6 euros per person. There are people similar to scalpers on the spot, who charge 18 euros per person to enter directly without queuing.

The best way to visit the Colosseum is to book in advance, queue up according to the appointed time, go through security checks, and then use the ROMA PASS or buy tickets on the spot. Otherwise, you need to queue up at a point by the Colosseum to schedule a time, and then enter according to the appointed time.
