Could you please tell me whether I should rent a navigator or use MapTou for my Road trip along the Great Ocean Road and in Tasmania ?

Buy a local card, 2 AUD a day, minimum 10 AUD, then download Google and Google Maps. Domestic browsers are disabled, can only do this.

After arriving in Australia, just download the Google offline maps of these two places to your mobile phone. It's much more useful than something like Explore Map.
