Go directly to the consulate to find them. The visa center is only responsible for receiving, transferring, and delivering, and they cannot manage the progress of the visa. A friend of mine also encountered a situation like yours. He went to the visa center several times but got no result, so he had to go directly to the consul and got it on the same day.
