We are planning a 23-day trip to Europe and we feel that we won't get used to the food there. We plan to stay in an apartment and bring an electric rice cooker. We would like to ask if things such as rice and sauce that can be used for cooking can be brought into Germany from within the country? Will it be as strict as Australia ?

We cook our own rice and bring pickled mustard.

Sure, both can be brought. The voltage is the same, don't worry about it.

Supermarket sells rice, cooking oil, salt, soy sauce and vinegar. No need to bring from home. It's better to book a hotel with a kitchen. Otherwise, some hotels may fine you for using rice cookers.

Rice is abundant in German supermarkets, all of which are from Thailand.

Things cooked can come over here to buy small bottles of things. All Asian supermarkets have them.

We brought rice, sesame oil, five-spice powder, hot pot base, and all can be checked in, no problem.
