Traveling by renting a car and driving in the United States with my son, I encountered a problem with driver registration. Can both my son and I, who both have driver's licenses, be registered as drivers? PS: My son is under 25 ?

Drivers under 25 years old are not allowed to drive SUVs and other vehicle types in many car rental companies, and will be charged an additional $25 per day at all car rental companies.
Besides the main driver, additional drivers can also be registered at the store, but you need to be aware that some car rental companies offer this service for free while others charge a fee. Additionally, drivers under the age of 25 may be subject to an additional young driver fee, calculated on a daily basis.
