Can you tell me if it's convenient to refuel in Germany when I drive there in September ?

There are three ways to pay for fuel in Germany: by credit card, which we did not choose; at the adjacent supermarket; or at the fuel pump in cash.

Overall, gasoline in German cities is cheaper than on the highway. Austrian gas prices are cheaper. It's best to rent a diesel car. It's both fuel-efficient and cheap.

You can use a credit card... Some gas stations without a cashier can only use an EC card, so just avoid them.
