D11 9/18 Mammoth Lake Town - Yosemite - San Francisco (Oakland), staying in Oakland Yosemite is a very famous national park in the United States. It was previously translated as Yosemite, which was said to be lukewarm. Later, it was translated by Taiwanese people as Yosemite, and immediately the artistic conception changed, and it became a very popular tourist attraction. Before going, a friend recommended that we could spend more time there, but when I looked at the photos online, I still didn't feel very interested. Compared to the beautiful scenery in the southwest of our motherland, it is not very attractive. So I just arranged it as a place to pass by, entering from the east gate and exiting from the west gate, which is a shortcut to San Francisco and can also visit a scenic spot. Yosemite National Park's official website: http://www.yosemitepark.com/default.aspx Yosemite also uses the annual park pass, which is very convenient to show. We didn't deliberately go to any attractions, just followed the navigation route. Along the way, there are small parking platforms in naturally beautiful places. As long as you pay attention to the safety of the vehicles behind, you can park and enjoy the scenery. The lake water is very clear, and I can't help but want to take a dip, but the weather is very cold. Just driving on the road without visiting the attractions feels very good. The straight trees on both sides of the road are like driving in a forest. If you are interested, you can refer to the map for sightseeing. In order to avoid fatigue from long-distance driving, we stayed in Oakland instead of going to San Francisco (it's about half an hour to the city, but there are a lot of cars in San Francisco, and driving would be more tiring. Also, accommodation in San Francisco is more expensive). But Oakland is also a city on the hills, with steep and winding roads, and the intersections are all marked with STOP signs. It's a good thing that it's an automatic transmission, otherwise, the uphill start would be exhausting. This also strengthened our determination not to drive to San Francisco. This time our main route on the west coast of the United States is as follows. The black route was originally planned to go from the Grand Canyon to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon, but it was abandoned later due to the long distance, so this trip is only the light purple route, driving a total of about 3000 kilometers. We also flew to Salt Lake City and joined a tour of Yellowstone National Park, passing through five states in the United States (California, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho) and visiting five national parks (Yellowstone National Park, Colorado Grand Canyon, Mid Lake, Death Valley, Yosemite). The specific itinerary is as follows: D19/8:00 Los Angeles car rental, stay in Los Angeles D29/9 Universal Studios Los Angeles, stay in Los Angeles D39/10 Orange Outlets return the car in the afternoon, fly to Salt Lake City, join the tour, stay in Salt Lake City D49/11 Yellowstone, stay in Yellowstone cabin D59/12 Yellowstone, Utah State Government, Mormon Church, stay in Salt Lake City D69/13 Yellowstone Lake, leave the tour in the morning, fly to Los Angeles, rent a car - Las Vegas, stay in Las Vegas D79/14 Las Vegas, stay in Las Vegas D89/15 Las Vegas - Grand Canyon, stay in Grand Canyon D99/16 Grand Canyon sunrise - Horseshoe Bend - Antelope Canyon - return to Las Vegas, stay in Las Vegas (the gray part did not go as planned) D10 9/17 Las Vegas - Death Valley - Mammoth Lakes, stay in Mammoth Lakes D119/18 Mammoth Lakes - Yosemite - San Francisco (Oakland), stay in Oakland D129/19 San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street, Chinatown), stay in San Francisco D139/20 San Francisco - Arroyo, stay in Pismo Beach D149/21 Arroyo - Santa Barbara - Los Angeles - Universal Studios, stay in Los Angeles D159/22 Los Angeles - Palm Springs Outlets (Desert Hill Premium Outlets), stay in Los Angeles D16 9/23 8:45 return the car and fly to Hawaii, stay in Hawaii D17 9/24 Hawaii Diamond Mountain, stay in Hawaii D18 9/25 Sunbathing by the sea in Hawaii, stay in Hawaii D19 9/26 Dinosaur Bay in Hawaii, stay in Hawaii D20 9/27 Waikele Outlets 23:30 fly to Beijing (arrive in Beijing at 5:30 am on 9/29)

D13 9/20 San Francisco-Arroyo, Highway 1 trip, stay at Pismo Beach. Departing from San Francisco, take Highway 1, passing through the towns of Monterey, 17 Mile Drive, Carmel, Big Sur, Hearst Castle, and arriving in the afternoon at Arroyo Pismo Beach. Departing from San Francisco, beautiful beaches are one after another. In Monterey, we deliberately found a parking space to walk by the sea. After that, it was a continuous stream of beautiful scenery, so we didn't spend any more time stopping. At 17 Mile Drive, we entered from the north at Pacific Grove Gate and exited from the south at Carmel Gate. The ticket is $10 per car (park tickets cannot be used because it is not a national park, it is private land). The first feeling inside is - it's good to be rich! This is the real life of the rich, seaside villas, private clubs, golf courses at the doorstep, playing golf in the sea breeze, really happy. It is said that the world-famous golf event is held here, at the Pebble Beach course in 17 Mile Drive every June. Along the coast, there are beautiful views all the way, and wherever there are viewpoints, there are small parking lots, which is very user-friendly. The lone cypress, also known as the lonely cypress, is the representative scenic spot of the entire 17 Mile Drive. It is said that the 17 Mile Drive is close to the sea, and the humidity is very high. The best time to visit is not in the morning, but after 3 pm until evening. The light is very good during this time period, and the air is very clear, but we couldn't make it in the afternoon, and the weather was a bit overcast that day. There are also deer. Going further is Big Sur, the mountain road is the most dangerous, but the scenery is also the most charming. In fact, it is difficult to tell where Carmel and Big Sur are, as the scenery is beautiful all the way!

3. StayAmerican accommodations, whether they are large hotels or motels, are very clean. So if you don't have high requirements for accommodation, staying in a motel is very affordable, and parking is free. There are many websites for booking accommodations, the main ones being Priceline, Booking, and Agoda. We booked on Booking this time, and you can choose to compare several websites. Also, pay attention to personal needs when filtering, such as free unlimited internet, free parking, free pool, free breakfast, and select according to your own needs.Priceline, http://www.priceline.com/  Booking, http://www.booking.com/  There are also some hotels that are not on these websites, and the conditions are also good, with similar prices, but it is still more secure to book in advance on the website.Another thing is that there are no slippers in the places you stay in the United States. Some places have disposable toothbrushes and toiletries, so you need to bring your own.

D5 9/12 Yellowstone Park, Grand Teton Park, Utah State Government, Mormon Church. Early in the morning, we arrived at the lake according to the sunrise time told by the tour guide, and looked forward to the moment when the sun jumped out in the cold wind. Fortunately, the time was not wasted. After nearly half an hour, we finally saw the beautiful sunrise moment in the thick fog on the lake. Then we went back to have breakfast and set off for Yellowstone Lake. It is said that it is the thinnest part of the earth's crust. If the earth is really destroyed one day, it will be the first place to erupt. The scenery is indeed extraordinary. The hot spring lake water and the early morning frost have a unique flavor. Early morning is also the time when animals come out to forage. We were able to see deer, real wild deer. They stood not far from us with vigilance, looking back at us. Yellowstone Lake was the last attraction we visited. Although it was a two-day tour, the actual time spent in Yellowstone Park was only one day, and the schedule was really tight. Then we went to Grand Teton Park. In fact, it is connected to Yellowstone Park, but because it was originally privately owned, it was later donated to the U.S. government, so it was named Grand Teton Park. Its observation deck is the most distinctive. The visitor center's three large floor-to-ceiling windows allow people to see the panoramic view of Grand Teton indoors, like a large mural, especially artistic. You can walk directly to the lake to take pictures from the side door. When it gets cold, come back and buy a cup of coffee, roast by the fire, and lean back on the comfortable sofa to enjoy the natural mural. It's really a beautiful day. Leaving Grand Teton Park, it was another 6-hour drive back to Salt Lake City, to visit the Utah State Government, which is magnificent but not awe-inspiring. All citizens can go in and see the working status and working environment of their public servants, and then sunbathe on their lawn. Happiness is so simple. On the way, we passed through the town of Jackson, where the central garden arch is made entirely of sheep horns. The interior of the state government is very luxurious. Finally, we visited the Mormon Church. This is a relatively small sect, but there are many people who believe in it in Salt Lake City, and they are very devout. The doctrine urges people to stay away from addictive and addictive things. The people here do not smoke, drink, or even drink cola. No one gets divorced here, and no one steals. So it is important to have faith. In the evening, we had a $20 Chinese buffet dinner with the group, which was not authentic, but it was already very rare in the United States. D6 9/13 Great Salt Lake, flying to Los Angeles, renting a car from Dollar to Las Vegas. According to the previous requirements of the travel agency, the flight should be booked in the afternoon, so we booked a flight at three o'clock in the afternoon. But I didn't expect that we only went to the Great Salt Lake early in the morning, and before nine o'clock, we were arranged to leave the group and wait at the hotel for the afternoon flight. So I decided to change the flight so that we could arrive in Las Vegas earlier and avoid driving at night. As the name suggests, the Great Salt Lake has a high salt content, and there is a strong salty smell by the lake. We paid $50 per person to change to the 11 o'clock flight. We arrived in Los Angeles at twelve o'clock and waited two hours in line to get the Nissan convertible that accompanied us for ten days. We immediately set off for the dreamy Las Vegas. (Flight:) Flight DL2241 From Salt Lake City Intl Airport (SLC) Salt Lake City UT Departs: 3:02 PM è 11:00AM To Los Angeles Intl Airport (LAX) Los Angeles CA Arrives: 3:52 PM I want to mention http://www.vegas.com/ here. There are various eating, living, and playing options in Las Vegas on this website. We booked tickets for Jubilee in advance on the website, thinking that the discount was very cost-effective, but suddenly found that there were more discounts on the website when we logged in with our mobile phones the day before we went to Las Vegas. Because we were in a hurry on the road and saw cheaper tickets, we decided to cancel the original tickets. The result was something very frustrating. The website clearly stated that if you want to cancel the tickets, contact customer service. When I called customer service, she told me that I could cancel, but it was non-refundable. I really can't understand what it means to be able to cancel but not get a refund. Does it mean that I can cancel, and then they can sell the seat again, but they won't refund my money? In the end, I had to give up. We arrived at the place we stayed at eight o'clock and hurried to Bally's Hotel. Fortunately, we made it to the 10:00 PM show. Jubilee is a very famous topless show, which I have always heard is very eye-catching, exposed but not pornographic. The live performance is indeed well-deserved. The magnificent stage lighting effects and the powerful lineup are amazing! Las Vegas, here we come! Map from where we stayed to the Strip Jubilee!! VIP seats Las Vegas is indeed the city that never sleeps. Accommodation: Days Inn Las Vegas at Wild Wild West Gambling Hall 3330 West Tropicana Avenue Las Vegas (Nevada) NV 89103 +1(702)739 5015

Thank you upstairs classmate! Speaking of flights, there are also many choices for domestic flights in the United States. This time, we chose Delta Airlines (http://zh.delta.com/) for our round trip from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City. There are discounted tickets, but generally, domestic airlines in the United States do not allow free checked baggage and charge an additional fee, approximately $20-30 per piece of luggage. Each person is allowed two carry-on bags. So we chose to bring a small carry-on bag for the outbound flight, one for each person, and a backpack. However, when flying from Los Angeles to Hawaii, we originally thought that there would also be a baggage fee, but we didn't expect that this ticket includes free checked baggage. I'm not sure how this is defined. If you are unsure whether checked baggage is free, you can scan your passport at the self-service check-in kiosk at the airport, select the number of bags as 1, and if there is a fee, it will be displayed. Of course, you can also inquire with the staff there. In addition, for international flights, especially discounted tickets, changes are not free. When we wanted to change to an earlier flight from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles, it cost $50 per person, almost the cost of the ticket, but there was no other way. Also, you have to wait at the boarding gate for the change, and it can only be confirmed if there are available seats after the original passengers have completed the boarding process. Going in early can help you register with the boarding gate staff, and if there are available seats, they will help you change your boarding pass, but it's first come, first served. Finally, I noticed that one characteristic of American flights is that they often arrive early, even if there is some delay in takeoff. It feels similar to their driving style. At intersections, in school zones, and in restricted areas, they drive slowly and courteously, not rushing for one or two minutes. But on the highway, they make up for that time, of course, under safe conditions. So, you often see cars driving very fast on the highway, but then stopping and courteously letting others go first at intersections.

D15 9/22 Los Angeles-Palm Springs Outlets (Desert Hill Premium Outlets), staying in Los Angeles Today we are on a one-day trip to the Outlets, and we chose the most famous Desert Hill Premium Outlets in Palm Springs. In fact, it's quite far from Los Angeles, and many people arrange their trips to shop on the way to Las Vegas, so they can take a shorter route. But we didn't want to carry a lot of luggage all the way, so we arranged to do our shopping on the last day. It's a good thing we left it until the last day, because we bought a 28-inch suitcase at the Outlets and it was full. It's hard to imagine what it would be like to drag such a big suitcase around for more than ten days. There are quite a few brands here, and it's exhausting to shop. But it's said that some things may not be the cheapest here, like suitcases. If you have American friends, you can go with them to Costco, a warehouse-style shopping center, like Metro, where you need a membership card to buy things. D9 9/16 Grand Canyon Sunrise-Horseshoe Bend-Antelope Canyon-Return to Las Vegas, stay in Las Vegas (the gray part did not form a group) The original itinerary was to watch the sunrise at the Grand Canyon, then go out of the east gate to Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and then return to Las Vegas. But the actual navigation found that the whole journey would take about eight hours, so I had to give up and go back to Las Vegas directly to sleep in. The sunrise at the Grand Canyon was not seen. Later, after careful analysis, if you want to go to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon, you should stay in Pege at night, which is near the east gate of the Grand Canyon, and then go directly to those two attractions the next day, and then return to Las Vegas from the north of the Grand Canyon. This is a mistake in the planning of this trip. Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon are very beautiful. The Antelope Canyon website: http://antelopeslotcanyon.com/. The two attractions are very close. The time to go to Horseshoe Bend must be controlled between 10 am and 2 pm. At this time, the sun can shine directly. If you come early or late, you will see half of the shadow covered. It is recommended to come in the morning. The best time to visit Antelope Canyon is 12 pm-2 pm, which is just right. It is said that you cannot go to Antelope Canyon by yourself, you must join a tour (but there are also netizens who don't understand it by themselves). If you want to join a tour, there will be many choices, because it is very beautiful there, a paradise for photographers, so there are photo tour (a little longer) and regular tour Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours (about $40 per person + $6 Tribal fee), you can check the website: http://navajonationparks.org/htm/antelopetours.htm. The route for those who go by themselves (for reference): After leaving Horseshoe Bend, I directly navigated to the address of Antelope Canyon, and went east along Highway 98. There is a very obvious coordinate on the road, which is a factory with many large chimneys. It is strange that there are two entrances with Antelope Canyon signs on the road, one is not to the factory, and the other is after the factory. We went to the far one. After entering the ticket office, several Indians practiced archery behind this house... I asked them and they told me that this is the place to start Antelope Canyon. I asked if it was okay to book online, and they told me to buy tickets here, $23 per person. After buying the ticket, I said that the departure time is 15 minutes later, so we waited here, and after a couple and a mother and daughter gathered, six people set off. Some say that the best time for the sun to shine directly into the bottom of Antelope Canyon is the whole point of the tour (11AM and 12AM), and no reservation is required at other times. It is said that there is a four-wheeled car to the entrance of the scenic spot, and it takes about ten minutes to drive in the desert, and the wind and sand are facing. Remember to wear a mask. I found two pictures of Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon online, the place of my dreams~ In the end, let's return to reality, that is, we didn't go to these two beautiful places, and returned to Las Vegas. On the way, I saw the sign of Lake Mead and decided to add a temporary attraction. Following the signs, I unknowingly drove to the entrance of the scenic spot, and found that someone was charging. At this time, the advantage of our park annual card was reflected. I asked the administrator if the annual card could be used, and she smiled and said, 'Sure! ~', so happy! I thought there was only a lake inside, just take some simple photos, but I didn't expect it to be so big, and you can drive to the beach by the lake, where many locals play speedboats, all driving small trucks, towing their private speedboats, and reversing the car into the lake to put down the speedboat, it is really leisurely. There are also people fishing on the shore of the lake, it is completely a leisurely big park, the only downside is that it feels like it should belong to the desert area, it is very, very hot, and the plants growing on the ground are all cacti and cacti, and I sweat all over in a minute after getting off the car. There are many pickups towing yachts along the way, obviously going on vacation, enviable life Cacti and cacti are all on the ground Bikini girl on the speedboat It seems that the weather is changing in the distance Back in Las Vegas, this time we stayed at the Stratosphere in the south, which is the high tower with thrilling amusement facilities on the 109th floor, which is an excellent place to see the Las Vegas night view. It's this tower, that sharp tower is the bungee jumping machine, too scary~~ The daytime Las Vegas is no different from an ordinary city. The Strip is no different, but the night view is different, with bright lights, all relying on the Hoover Dam. It is said that if the earth really perishes, Las Vegas will be the last place on earth to have a power outage. Too exciting!! Dare not sit. Guests staying here can have four free and unlimited times to the top of the tower. The normal ticket price is $20 per person each time. We went twice (of course, we have to line up each time, especially at night, there are many people). For dinner, we chose The Buffet at Wynn, $40 per person, which doesn't feel as good as the buffet in China, and didn't eat much. Accommodation: Stratosphere Hotel & Casino 2000 South Las Vegas Boulevard Las Vegas Strip Las Vegas (Nevada) NV 89131 United States of America +18009986937

D10 9/17 Las Vegas-Death Valley--Mammoth Lakes Mammoth lakes Mammoth lakes Mammoth lakes Mammoth lakes Death Valley is the most amazing place we have visited on this trip. The first tens of kilometers into the scenic area are desolate and uninhabited, with almost no cars (but the roads are very good). When we saw a small parking lot, we turned in, only to be told by the administrator that it was not a scenic spot, they were filming a movie, and the scenic spot was further in. So we continued to walk up the mountain, to a high point overlooking the area, where there was also a film crew, but they should have finished work and returned to their cars, I don't know if there were any big stars... The vast scenery is not the usual green hills and clear waters, but a desolate scene that is also very shocking. The next nearby scenic spot is a completely different scene, desolate, with hills of different colors, and no signs of life. Continuing forward, there is a large desert, with very fine sand, and very hot weather. In just one or two hours, we saw different types of death zones, worthy of the name Death Valley. There is no end to the road in the park. We did not go to other scenic spots, but drove straight to Mammoth Lake, feeling that this national park is really too big. The scenery along the way. When we arrived at Mammoth Lake, it was not yet dark, and after checking in, we went to the Mexican restaurant across the street for dinner, and asked the waitress where to go for fun nearby. She said there were many lakes here, but you had to drive there, so we went back to the hotel to get the car and went out for a drive while it was still light. It was obviously cooler here, and you had to wear a coat by the lake. The greening of the entire town is very good, and by the lake, there are dense large trees, plus clear lake water, it is very quiet and beautiful. On the way, we also saw a deer crossing the road to the lake to drink water, which made us a little nervous, not because we were afraid of deer, but because it indicated that this place was also very primitive, and there might be bears, and it was the time when animals came out to forage in the evening. So we hurriedly got out of the car to take a few photos, then drove along the path by the lake, and didn't dare to continue walking into the woods, but returned to the hotel to rest. It is said that there is a beautiful Mammoth Mountain on this side of Mammoth Lake, which is a ski resort. In winter, many Americans bring their own skiing equipment here for vacation, but September should be too early, and there are not many people in the town. D19 9/26 Hanuman Bay, Hawaii, staying in HawaiiSecond stop: Hanuman BayFrom Waikiki to Hanuman Bay, you can take bus 22, the bus stop is on the street by the sea, the bus timetable can be downloaded on thebus website, it seems like the first bus is around 8:25. It is important to note that Hanuman Bay is closed to the public every Tuesday, and bus 22 does not operate, so plan to avoid Tuesday when visiting Hanuman Bay.The scenery along the way is nice, you can enjoy it slowly on the bus, but the bus windows are very dirty. It takes about thirty minutes, and you also travel on a highway, but the $2.5 is worth it. Finally, the endpoint is Hanuman Bay, the bus stop is the same as the boarding point, there is a timetable at the stop for the return journey, take a photo for reference, the driver will remind everyone of the last bus time for the return journey, because only bus 22 goes to Hanuman Bay, so if you miss the last bus, it will be difficult to return to Waikiki. After getting off the bus, you can take a few photos from a high place first, then follow the tourists carrying snorkeling gear to find the entrance. The ticket is $7.5/person, buy the ticket and queue up according to the time shown to watch the educational video introducing the itinerary and precautions of Hanuman Bay. There is a slight slope from the entrance to the beach, you can take the shuttle down, it seems to be $1 going down, $1.5 going up, or you can walk. You can rent snorkeling equipment at the beach, including a mask, a breathing tube, and fins, you need a credit card for deposit, and you can also rent a locker. We brought our own goggles, so we didn't need to rent snorkeling equipment, we just swam to see, which was very clear. The dark colors are all coral reefs! There are lots of small fish! It's recommended to come to Hanuman Bay in the morning, the earlier the better, the sea is calmer in the morning, and the waves start in the afternoon, which makes snorkeling inconvenient. It takes at least two to three hours to play here, so the Transfer Ticket we got to come is not used.On the way back, we took the Transfer Ticket, then went to Walmart to buy some candy and small gifts, Walmart is on a street behind Alamoana Hawaii's center, take a round trip to Alamoana Hawaii's center (there are many big brands here, but the discounts are not high), many buses can take you there, such as bus 8, and it seems bus 16 is also available.AccommodationOHANA Waikiki West2330 Kuhio AvenueWaikikiHonolulu (Oahu Hawaii) HI 96815+13037433280 D20 9/27 Outlets shopping day trip, returning at 23:30Check out in the morning, then store your luggage as usual, and head to the Outlets.Waikele Premium Outlets in Hawaii are for second and third-tier brands, about a forty-minute drive from Waikiki Beach, the transportation is inconvenient. We booked a round-trip shuttle from the hotel, with three different departure times and return times, we chose to leave at nine in the morning and return at two-thirty in the afternoon. The Outlets in Hawaii are not that big, so this time is enough, the driver will tell you where to wait for the return shuttle before you get off. After getting off, you will enter the Information center, where you can get coupons with a green bus ticket. In addition to the main shopping area, there are dining places and a GAP factory store across the street, there are free shuttle buses circulating among these spots, if you haven't taken the shuttle before, this is a good opportunity to experience it. These places are actually very close, walking is also fine, but it's nice to take a break and rest on the shuttle after shopping for a while.Even the parking lot at the Outlets is beautiful!

D8 9/15 Las Vegas-Grand Canyon, Williams We drove ourselves, so we chose the less crowded South Gate of the Grand Canyon (most travel agencies enter from the West Gate), passing by the Hoover Dam, the town of Kingman (Route 66), the town of Williams, where we rested for about an hour. About 15 minutes after leaving Las Vegas, you can see Lake Mead, and not far ahead you can see the sign for the Hoover Dam. Follow the sign up the mountain, and you can see the full view of the Hoover Dam and a distant view of Lake Mead. Visiting the Hoover Dam does not require a ticket, but there is an entrance with staff on duty. We stopped briefly at that entrance to determine the entrance location and were educated by the staff that parking on the road is not allowed, as it can lead to accidents. We didn't know much about architecture, so we took some simple photos and rested before continuing on our way. Lake Mead in the distance Hoover Dam Overlooking Lake Mead Our beloved ride for 10 days Setting off for the Grand Canyon! The town of Kingman is a small town on the original Route 66, and you can still see large road signs for Route 66 in the town. There is also a small square with an old railway landscape. We had lunch and rested in the quiet town, then continued on our way. Williams is the closest town to the South Gate of the Grand Canyon, about an hour's drive. Our hotel was in town, but because we arrived a bit early, we couldn't check in (check-in is only available after 3pm), so we went straight to the Grand Canyon. Here I want to mention the entrance fees for U.S. national parks. U.S. national parks do not charge admission fees, only vehicle fees, so the ticket price is the same regardless of how many people are in the car. The entrance fees for each national park are different, generally around $20-30 per vehicle. We bought an Agency Annual Pass for $80 at the Grand Canyon, which is a year-long pass for all U.S. national parks, allowing free entry to all U.S. national parks for a year. The back of the card has two spaces for names, and anyone with ID can bring friends into the park for free within a year. Thanks to this annual pass, it was very convenient for us to enter the park. Yellowstone National Park was part of our tour, but we could have used the annual pass there as well. By the way, my card has a blank signature space on the back, and it expires in September 2015. I'm selling it for 300 RMB (excluding shipping). If anyone is interested, please contact me. I had heard that it's difficult to find parking at the Grand Canyon, and sure enough, it took us nearly half an hour to find a parking space at Mather Point. Most visitors park their cars in the parking lot and take the park's shuttle buses to tour the area, so the parking lot is always full (Mather Point parking lot is the closest to the Visit Center, which is the shuttle bus transfer station, just a few minutes' walk away). But taking the free shuttle bus to tour the area is more convenient. When you enter the park, the staff will give you a map of the area, and the shuttle bus route is on the newspaper. There are also maps at each attraction, so you can choose the shuttle bus according to your needs. The main attractions of the Grand Canyon are: Yavapai Point, Geology Museum, Mather Point, Hopi Point, Desert View. After entering the Grand Canyon Park, there are four free bus routes: the red bus route, the yellow bus route, the blue route, and the purple route. The red route is the route for touring the various attractions on the west side of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the yellow route is for touring the various attractions on the east side of the South Rim, and the blue route connects the three parking areas: Mather Point, Grand Canyon Village, and Market Plaza. The purple route should be a shuttle from the outer parking lot, the IMAX theater, and the hotel area in the park to the Mather Point parking area. (It is said that the red route cannot be driven, but the other routes can be.) You must take the free bus to see the sunrise and sunset: Sunrise-Yellow Line-Yaki Point, around 5am, we didn't see the sunrise Sunset-Red Line-Hopi Point, the bus driver will explain that Hopi Point is the best place to watch the sunset, and what time the sunset is that day, so you don't miss it. Our itinerary was to take the yellow line to Mother Point first, then return to the Visitor Center to take the blue line, transfer at Hermits Test Route Transfer to the red line (except for Market Plaza on the blue line, where you can go to the General Store to buy things, the other stops are accommodations and parking lots, so you don't need to go there), and the red line is the route that runs along the Grand Canyon. If time allows, you can get off at each stop to enjoy the scenery. We visited the main attractions and then returned to Hopi Point to watch the sunset, and it was really nice to sit on the edge of the cliff and watch the sunset. The magnificent Grand Canyon Below is the Colorado River The sun has set After watching the sunset, a special empty bus came to pick us up. There were more people, but everyone lined up in an orderly manner, and it didn't feel chaotic. We smoothly got on the bus and returned to the parking lot to get our car. The characteristic of national parks is that they are very primitive and natural, so when the sun sets, it gets very dark, and we had to feel our way to our car in the dark, and then feel our way back to the road. But because it was so dark, we spent about half an hour near our parking lot, and the navigation system was unclear, which was very frustrating. In the middle of getting lost, we even encountered a large deer by a small roundabout, with very large antlers, I don't know if it was a reindeer. Afraid of disturbing it, we immediately switched to low beams and continued to find our way. This is where the advantage of staying in the park comes in. After watching the sunset, the park shuttle bus takes you directly back to the hotel. But the accommodation in the park is also expensive. There are 7 hotels in the park, and you can book through the Grand Canyon Hotel's unified website: http://www.grandcanyonlodges.com/, about $100 a day. Because we entered the park in the afternoon and didn't have much time, otherwise we could have experienced some special activities, such as helicopter rides and glass bridges, which seemed to cost four or five hundred dollars, expensive, but definitely worth it! Below are some attractions summarized by a netizen for reference (he is referring to whether the stations are the same for the round trip, and if they are, ask the driver for the direction of the destination). Ps: Everyone must pay attention to whether the bus is traveling in one direction or two, to avoid walking the same route. 1. Hermits Rest (one way) 2. Bright Angel Trailhead (two-way) 3. Trailview Overlook (one way) 4. Maricopa Point (one way) 5. Powell Point (two-way) 6. Hipi Point (one way) 7. Hermit Road (one way) 8. Monument Creek Vista (one way) 9. Pima Point (two-way) 10. Mohave Point (watch the sunset) (two-way) Mohave Point is a good place to watch the sunset. And from here you can clearly see the Colorado River flowing at the bottom of the canyon. D12 9/19 San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street, Chinatown), stay in San Francisco. Early in the morning we drove to San Francisco. Regardless of which road we took, we had to pass the Golden Gate Bridge, which required a toll, and there were many cars, so we were stuck in traffic. We finally arrived at Fisherman's Wharf. The overall itinerary was as follows: Fisherman's Wharf (Fisherman's Wharf) parking—view Golden Gate Bridge from afar along the coast of the west—south to Lombard Street—Chinatown—drive to Stanford University in the afternoon. Just about to get on the bridge. It was a bit drizzly that day, with an overcast sky. The distant view was unclear, so we decided not to get close to the Golden Gate Bridge and instead parked at Fisherman's Wharf for convenience. However, parking at Fisherman's Wharf was quite expensive, $6 for 20 minutes! We arrived at an awkward time. If you arrive before 9 a.m., you could avail of an "early bird" rate, but since we arrived after 10 a.m., we opted for parking near some designated restaurants in the parking lot, which allowed for two to three hours of free parking. However, as we arrived between 9 and 10 a.m., we had to pay $6 for 20 minutes! So we decided to change to a slightly more distant parking lot, which was actually not very far, just some hotels on the opposite side of the street that offered open parking spaces indoors and were much cheaper, but the rates varied between establishments. In the end, we paid $22 for a day (there were even cheaper options). Then we walked to Pier 39, which is the liveliest pier and offers boat trips to Alcatraz Island. We walked along the coast to the west and reached a small boardwalk that extended into the sea. From there, we could see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance, as the fog had cleared somewhat, allowing us a faint view of the bridge. There are also buses to various sights. Bus 2/28 goes to the Golden Gate Bridge station, Bus 30 from the Palace of Fine Arts to Lombard Street. A bus ride costs $2, and with a transfer ticket, you can transfer, but the bus stations in San Francisco are not easy to distinguish, so we decided to walk. Additionally, cable cars also go to various sights. It seems that a one-way trip costs $6 per person, with day passes available. If you have a JCB credit card, you can travel for free. Lastly, affluent individuals can opt for the double-decker sightseeing bus BIG BUS, which runs for about two hours, covering all major attractions, with a cost of around $40 per person. Some online users mentioned a Bridge Pavilion near the Golden Gate Bridge, where you can get detailed information about the bridge. There is a Downtown Shuttle PresidiGo free shuttle at the pavilion that takes you to the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts every half an hour, just across from the information center. Many have said the Palace of Fine Arts is worth a visit, but since we were walking, we couldn't make it. Alcatraz Island. Fisherman's Wharf. A steep slope. A harmonious scene. Overcast weather, the Signal Hill also hazy. Faint view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Birds, what are you contemplating? We climbed up the boardwalk from which we could see the Golden Gate Bridge from afar, directly ascending the very steep path towards Lombard Street. As per the map, we headed in the direction of Lombard Street, climbing up the hill, with cable cars passing by occasionally. Observing them clinging to the doors seemed quite interesting (cable cars are allowed to have passengers standing on the side steps gripping the handrails, presumably for better views, but safety precautions must be taken). It wasn't far, but we were breathless by the time we reached Lombard Street. The climb was really tiring. Lombard Street runs east to west through the Presidio and Cow Hollow neighborhoods of San Francisco. It is known as the most crooked street in the world. Originally designed and built in the 1920s to provide relief to heavy traffic, it has now become one of the most attractive streets in San Francisco. Lombard Street is actually quite long, comprising eight hairpin turns within a short block between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street. Due to its 40-degree slope and zigzag pattern resembling the letter "Z," vehicles can only travel downhill. The street is lined with flowers: hydrangeas in spring; roses in summer; and chrysanthemums in autumn, adorning it in a riot of colors. Our starting position on the road leads to the crest of Lombard Street, from where we had a panoramic view of the flower-decorated street below, along with distant streets and a view of the sea, which was very beautiful. Thankfully, we walked there, so we could leisurely descend via the pedestrian walkway without much hassle. However, driving there is impractical; you can only slowly drive downhill without stopping, although some people tried to park by the side to take pictures, which was quite inconvenient. This is Lombard Street, where you can see the sea in the distance. Looking up at Lombard Street, a colorful array of flowers. Not far from there is Telegraph Hill (Coit Tower). It is said to be flanked by quiet residential homes, but as we climbed up the hill, all we saw were quiet residential dwellings, so we decided not to climb Telegraph Hill (as the stairs seemed very steep). We asked for directions to Chinatown from a passerby and slowly made our way there. However, upon arrival, we were quite disappointed. Compared to the quiet residential homes we had just passed, Chinatown was a bustling market, where Cantonese dialect filled the air, mostly spoken by elderly individuals strolling around. We only ordered some shrimp dumplings and chive dumplings at a takeout Hong Kong-style snack shop before heading back, and while the dim sum was authentic, the overall experience was underwhelming. Testing driving skills in San Francisco. Despite the uphill climb being tiring, the scenery was beautiful. Chinatown. Saints Peter and Paul Church at Washington Square, a small but beautiful square. An impressive amphibious vehicle. Beginning station of the cable car, for a quick photo. We returned to Fisherman's Wharf to pick up the car and set out for Stanford University, which boasts the most beautiful campus. How could we not go see it? Stanford is located south of San Francisco, a considerable distance away, about an hour's drive. Upon arriving at the famed Stanford University, we soon realized that the campus was too vast for us to navigate, and we couldn't discern the directions, so we resorted to aimlessly driving around and ended up on their commercial street, where we also saw an Apple store with a long queue. We had dinner here but left Stanford with regret, as we didn't get to see the awe-inspiring ancient buildings and lush lawns as we had envisioned. Stanford University. A pathway by the commercial street. Our accommodation was also located south of San Francisco, so it was not far, and we reached before dark. Finally, attached is a map of Downtown San Francisco, marking out all the recommended attractions. A road trip without a word, I saw a parking lot with many cars parked along the way, knowing that it must be a beautiful scenic spot, so I parked and went over. Sure enough, this is the legendary sea lion beach, with groups of sea lions lying on the beach basking in the sun, which is really interesting. So, in fact, you don't need navigation all the way, you can go to find scenic spots, where you can naturally find parking lots, it's very easy to find, and there may be unexpected gains! Finally, we arrived at Hearst Castle in the afternoon. This is a private villa of William Randolph Hearst, the media tycoon, and the most expensive private villa in the United States. It is said to be the most luxurious inside. The bus of the scenic area is arranged for a tour, and you can also watch a movie. The ticket price is about $40, I can't remember it clearly. But we arrived late, and their tour time had ended, but you can still walk through the visitor center to the balcony to look at the villa on the mountaintop. If you want to visit, try to arrive in the morning. This is the route we took all the way, California 1, let's commemorate it. Finally, we arrived at our hotel, but it's far from the beach, but it's okay, the view is very good, and having a seafood feast is also very enjoyable!
