Can anyone tell me whether it's better to spend a day driving along the Seawall in Vancouver to Whistler or to Victoria Island? I'm having a dilemma, mainly because I'm not sure whether it's possible to return to Vancouver on the same day from Whistler ?

I just checked on Google Maps. It's about 134 kilometers and 2 hours from Vancouver to Whistler. I feel like it's doable to make a round trip in a day.

The answer is also very纠结. Victoria is Vancouver Island, with Butchart Gardens, which is not comparable to an ordinary park and worth a visit. In addition, on the way back to Victoria, you can visit the City Hall and so on. To go to the island, you need to take a ferry, so it takes a day to go back and forth, and you need to leave early in the morning. Whistler is Vancouver's winter skiing destination, which has hosted the Winter Olympics. It is also a tourist destination during the day, and there are also hot springs. The way up the mountain is the Sea to Sky Highway, which connects the sea and the sky and the scenery is pleasant. It takes 2 hours to drive, so you can go back and forth the same day. Where to go is still up to you.
