Drive in California, if you turn right at a red light behind someone else's car, do you also need to stop for a few seconds at the stop line? Thank you in advance ?

Right turn on red must stop, regardless of whether there is a car in front or not. There is no rule that specifies how many seconds to stop to confirm safety before making a right turn. It is not recommended to drive in the US if you are not familiar with American traffic laws! Many Chinese people have lost their lives due to their lack of understanding of American traffic laws.

The "stop" keyword means to completely stop, and it has nothing to do with seconds.
