We rented a travel car from Alesund to Bergen in Norway. The road conditions were good all the way, and the car was fine. Just some scenic spots only have one road, so pay attention to give way to the cars coming from the opposite direction. Some scenic mountain roads have more elbows, but the scenery is very beautiful, just slow down when turning.
