Excuse me everyone, I bought my Air New Zealand ticket in segments, not as a through ticket with a transit in Auckland. Can I check in for both legs at Shanghai airport? Do any of you have similar experiences ?

But strangely, Air New Zealand called and said it could be done that way.

I checked in online, and I have already purchased a seat for the domestic flight. My main concern is whether I will be able to make it for the connecting flight which arrives at 6:45 and departs at 9:30.

You have to see if it's a connecting flight with a transit ticket, that is, if it's the same ticket number, you can usually handle it. At the same time, you also need to see if Auckland has opened the international transfer domestic transit business, which involves a lot of complexity! It also involves whether there is an agreement between the two customs supervision of New Zealand, which has little to do with whether it is in the same terminal. The key is whether the airport has opened this business and whether New Zealand Customs has signed an agreement to allow. I suggest you ask the check-in staff when you handle the first section, I hope it can help you.

I encountered the same situation and couldn't handle it together.
