We spent 20 days in total, with 15 days of Road trip and 5 days in Istanbul. We visited Izmir, Ephesus, Cesme, Selcuk, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Fethiye, Kas, Antalya, Cappadocia, Ankara, Lake Tuz, and Saffron. We feel that Saffron, Cesme, Selcuk, and the city center of Izmir are not necessary to visit, as we grew up by the sea and prefer the beach. We enjoyed Fethiye, Kas, and Antalya, as they have beautiful scenery and offer better value for sea activities compared to Southeast Asia. The areas are also less crowded, making them perfect for a beach vacation. There are several seaside resorts near Antalya worth visiting. There isn't much to see in Ankara, and Lake Tuz is just a stop on the way to Saffron.
