I wonder which airline's tickets do you buy, such as the transit visa required for Aeroflot flights via Moscow and Ukraine flights via Kiev ?

ROC doesn't require transit visa, but they will lose your luggage. You will arrive, but your luggage won't.

Met a 4-person team going paragliding in Fethiye and talked about flights. When they said they did Aeroflot, I asked without thinking: Are your luggage still complete? The girl said in Guangdong dialect: How do you all know? Oh my god, we lost three out of four pieces of luggage, and there's still one missing (estimated that they've been in Turkey for at least two or three days). This has messed up our hotel and car rental plans, costing us thousands of yuan... So don't be obsessed with Aeroflot's cheap prices. Fortunately, I didn't take the flight because I was afraid of the feeling of flying a fighter jet and the trouble of getting a transit visa.

Me too, transit in Almaty for 16 hours. How can I contact the local guide?

We are Aeroflot. This is the first time we have purchased Aeroflot. The outbound trip was okay, but the return trip was not good. Aeroflot requires two hours early check-in for international flights, which is not enough time for tax refund, and we almost missed the return flight.

We bought Astana Airlines and had a layover in Almaty, which was not too troublesome, but it was a 9-12 hour layover. We found a local guide to take us around and finished the first leg of the trip, visiting the city's attractions. However, there wasn't much to see or buy, and we had to pay for our own meals, transportation, and entrance fees, totaling around 800 RMB. The return trip, the second leg, cost 1600 RMB for a chartered car to visit nearby attractions. It felt a bit expensive, and with the language barrier and limited taxi availability, independent travel was difficult. It's probably better to stick with a local guide, especially in a place where we're just passing through.
