Not necessarily, it depends on luck. Some lakes have parking spaces nearby.

There are parking spaces before 8am and after 6pm. If there is no parking space, you have to park at the bus station (which has enough parking spaces) and then take the bus.

Only the parking lots of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are usually tight. You usually park at a place called "Park and Ride" and then take a shuttle bus to Lake Louise. Then you buy tickets at Lake Louise and take a bus to Moraine Lake. After that, you take a shuttle bus back to "Park and Ride" to get your car.

The parking lot of Louise Lake can park hundreds of cars, but it is full. Moraine Lake parking lot is full unless you enter it at 5-6 am. The parking lot of Jade Lake is full and you can park two kilometers away along the road.
