Thank you. Do you mean driving directly to the ferry without making an appointment, and can tickets be bought on the same day?
I drove to and from Victoria Island on June 7th. I didn't make an appointment and just followed the navigation to the pier. After seeing a place in front that was similar to the toll station on the domestic expressway, I drove towards the toll booth with Victoria displayed on it, paid the fee, and received a receipt with the lane number on it. Then I drove to this lane and queued up to take the ferry. It was much easier than taking the ferry to Hainan Island in Shanghai.
Drive along Highway 99 in Vancouver. There are clear signs painted with a ship. When you approach the dock, there will be a toll booth. Make sure to stay on the right side.
Navigate to Tsawwassen ferry terminal in Vancouver. Both people and cars need to purchase tickets. Drive the car onto the ferry and go to Victoria Island together. $57.5 CAD for cars and $17.2 CAD for each person. Need to purchase tickets again when returning. Long queues for buying tickets now, best to make a reservation in advance.
Take the bus, then take a boat, then take the bus again. It's very convenient. If you drive across the ferry, the fee is relatively high. It's not very convenient either.
