Today, I was charged 100 euros more for oil by Herzt. I argued with him for a long time, saying that you would not deduct the money when you returned it in full. But when I went back, the car was not parked there and it left. Have you ever encountered this ?

The on-site action was just to freeze the bank's available credit. At the time, I rented a car for 608 euros, but the bank's text message showed "At X time, consumed 966 euros" (ICBC UnionPay Travel Card), which was later found to be a freeze. As shown in the Hertz receipt, there are 5 amounts in the bottom right corner, which are: estimated rental fee €614.90, maximum refueling price €107.18, service charge €36.60, and estimated total €758.68. The €966.00 is the frozen amount. In my case, if you return the car full of fuel, the maximum refueling price of 107.18 euros and service charge of 36.60 euros will not apply. The receipt shows estimated amounts. Refueling will depend on the final check of the fuel gauge at the time of return (it is recommended to keep the receipt for refueling the tank).
