Do you want to ask what kind of scenic spot the Great Sur is? Is it a coastal scenic spot or a forest scenic spot? When I passed by, the navigation led me to an inland forest road, and then there was an entrance-like scenic spot that we missed, so we didn't turn back? Is it just that big forest ?

Big Sur is a stretch of mountain road by the sea, where you can look at the sea or go into the mountains to see the forest. Most tourists probably just look at the sea. Good views have pullouts, where you can stop and look around.
That section with the bridge is more dangerous. Check out a documentary on the internet, ha ha. The first episode of Aerial America is about it.
Big Sur is not only one of the place names of Highway 1, but also can represent the most characteristic scenic spot of Highway 1.
