I heard that we can only bring 50 cigarettes, and the local cigarettes are expensive and not good. How do heavy smokers solve this problem ?

Cigarettes are really expensive! There are so few varieties, you can't see them on the supermarket shelves, you have to ask the salesperson, and there is almost no choice. Our friends who travel with us from the mainland save money every day by smoking, without buying them with pain, and in the end there is only pain to bear.

Could you ask someone who doesn't smoke to bring some? One person can take 50, and three people can take 150.

I brought 1 carton of cigarettes in this time. 5 packs tax free, 5 packs tax. Paid a little over 111 NZD. If you're brave, I think the probability of being caught if you split the carton up and put it in several suitcases is small. If you want to be safe, pay the tax.

Just quit smoking.
