Do you guys book the entire hotel in advance? Won't there be no rooms available if you book it temporarily? Because we originally planned to travel around the island, we are afraid that if the traffic conditions are not good, we can only play half the distance, so we haven't booked any hotels except the one on the first day ?

It's better to book in advance, otherwise there will be no place to stay. There are few accommodations on the road, which are mostly small towns.

There are very few accommodations in Iceland, just a few or one house on the side of the road. It's hard to find them by booking, so if you don't mind the journey, you can give it a try.

Room accommodations are limited in some small towns during peak seasons.

Book in advance! It's peak season in Iceland during the summer holidays, so it's not easy to book hotels at the last minute. Not only is it a waste of time, but the prices are higher as well! We booked six months in advance.
